It’s all getting very close now and today the tickets arrived! So the first thing we do is look at our allocated seats on the plane. Then pull up the relevant airplane seat plan to see exactly where they are – going out and coming back.

Then the excitement mounts as we check the admission tickets that the very helpful travel agency has sorted for us. Planned so far are trips to Alcatraz, Harbour Cruise and then Cirque de Soleil show in Las Vegas. We figure we’ll sort out other outings once we’re on the road. I mean you can’t do Hollywood without a Celebrity Bus Tour, can you, or a Big Bus Evening Night Tour around Las Vegas.

So the itinerary covers LA, Palm Springs, Scottsdale, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite, San Francisco, Carmel, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and then back to where it all started and a flight home from LA. It’s going to be epic for us three ladies!!

In the next few days it’s going to be ironing, packing, nails done, ( we plan to impress), and visits to the hairdresser so probably not what anyone wants to read about.
